Deepak Raj Joshi appointed as CEO of Nepal Tourism Board

KATHMANDU: Deepak Raj Joshi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board. The decision came after the selection and recommendation committee submitted its shortlist earlier today.

The committee had recommended three names: outgoing CEO Dr. Dhananjay Regmi, former CEO Deepak Raj Joshi, and Gyaneshwar Singh Mahato. Out of the three, the Board selected Joshi for the top position.

Upon his appointment, Joshi expressed his commitment to addressing the challenges ahead. “The challenge is to ensure resources and manage them effectively according to the circumstances. With the support and cooperation of everyone, I will overcome this challenge,” Joshi told Fiscal Nepal.

The Board had been without a CEO since Dr. Dhananjay Regmi’s term ended on January 28, 2024. Joshi, who previously served as the CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board, now returns to lead the organization once again.
