KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index lost 16.96 points today and closed at 2,843.
The index opened at 2,871.65 and went on a steep decline to the intraday low at 2,833.53. It then bounces back to the intraday high of 2,872.26 and ultimately closed at 2,843.00. 13,210,369 shares traded hands via 78,983 transactions.
The trading of 219 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs 7.03 billion.
