KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel said that the budget for 2021-22 is highly contextual and based on constitutional mandate.
Speaking at a post-budget discussion with press today, Poudel said that a full-fledged budget was necessary considering the present context and constitutional mandate. “We have brought the budget accordingly by focusing on combating the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring timely vaccination against coronavirus and reviving the economy,” said Poudel.
Regarding comments that there lies huge challange in implementing the budget, Poudel said, “We are committed to implement this budget and we will prove it by implementing it.”
