KATHMANDU: The government has announced to implement the Mobile Device Management System (MDMS) from July 16 to make defunct illegally imported mobile sets in the country.
The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), which is preparing to introduce MDMS, has not been able to implement the system on time due to the pandemic.
However, the government has stated in the budget statement that it will be implemented from July 20.
