KATHMANDU: Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana has assumed the office at Nabil Bank as the bank’s new chief executive officer from today.
Dhungana, who played a key role in the acquisition of Nepal Bangladesh Bank, has been appointed as the CEO of Nabil Bank for four years.
The CEO post at Nabil Bank was vacant after then CEO Anil Keshari Shah completed his tenure in the bank.
Dhungana had left Nepal Bangladesh Bank on January 1. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made a provision to spend about 6 months as a cooling off period when leaving one financial institution and moving to another as head and manager.
