KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index lost a significant 51.65 points today and closed at 2,862.18.
The index opened at 2,939.04. While the index went as low as 2,857.17, it ultimately closed at 2,862.18. 19,417,532 shares were traded hands via 91,075 transactions. The trading of 218 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs 8.36billion.
On Tuesday, Nepse had recorded turnover of Rs. 11.619 billion.
