KATHMANDU: The prohibitory orders enforced in the Kathmandu Valley have been extended by a week till June 21, according to Prem Prasad Bhattarai, the chief district officer of Bhaktapur.
A meeting of the chief district officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur – the three districts in the Valley – held earlier at 3:30PM today took a decision to this effect.
The ongoing prohibitory orders which were extended by 10 days on June 2 were due to end on the midnight of June 14.
