KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Limited and Daraz Kaymu have signed a memorandum of understanding in supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nepal.
The agreement was signed between Sujit Kumar Shakya, deputy chief executive officer of Nabil Bank and and Lino Alhering, managing director of Daraz Kaymu.
The two firms jointly launched financing program entitled ‘Sarathi Program’ which allows sellers of Daraz to apply for different SME loan products of Nabil Bank at affordable interest rate.
“The partnership will will increase access of SMEs to banking services, including financing,” said Shakya of Nabil Bank.
