On July 17, gold prices had previously reached an all-time high of Rs 149,800 per tola. However, Friday’s prices surpassed this record, with gold trading at Rs 149,900 per tola, an increase of Rs 100 per tola over the previous record. This latest surge highlights the ongoing volatility and rising trend in the gold market.
The Federation of Nepal Gold & Silver Dealers’ Associations has officially set the price of fine gold at Rs 149,900 per tola for today. This is a notable increase from Thursday’s trading price of Rs 149,400 per tola, marking a rise of Rs 500 per tola in just one day.
In contrast to the soaring gold prices, the price of silver has decreased. On Friday, silver is being traded at Rs 1,795 per tola, reflecting a drop from previous levels.
The new record highs for gold prices have significant implications for investors and consumers alike. As gold continues to set new benchmarks, it underscores the growing demand and investment interest in precious metals. This trend is likely to impact various sectors, from jewelry manufacturing to investment portfolios.
