KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Bharat Raj Poudyal as the secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
Poudyal had been serving at MoFA as joint-secretary and was also the spokesperson of the Ministry.
The Cabinet meeting on Thursday appointed Poudyal to the post. The foreign secretary post at MoFA was vacant after the government appointed then foreign secretary Shankar Das Bairagi as the chief secretary.
