Class 12 exams to proceed as scheduled from April 11

KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board has decided not to postpone the Class 12 examinations scheduled to begin on April 11. This decision was made during a meeting of the National Examination Board held this morning.

Chairman of the National Examination Board, Mahashram Sharma, confirmed that the examinations will not be postponed and will take place as per the scheduled dates. Due to the ongoing protests by teachers and employees, as well as the resignation of Education Minister Bidya Bhattarai, some had doubted whether the Class 12 examinations would proceed on the scheduled dates.

However, the board meeting held this morning decided to request schools with designated examination centers to conduct the Class 12 examinations through the examination coordination committees in all districts. Examination Controller Krishna Prasad Sharma also urged students to prepare for the exams without any hesitation. “The exams will take place. We request students to prepare confidently,” said Examination Controller Sharma.
