KATHMANDU: The price of gold has risen significantly by Rs 2,300 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been set at Rs 169,800 per tola, up from Rs 167,500 per tola on Wednesday.
In addition to gold, the price of silver has also seen an increase. The price of silver rose by Rs 35 per tola, with the new rate fixed at Rs 1,965 per tola.
This sharp rise in precious metal prices reflects ongoing fluctuations in the domestic and international markets. Stakeholders are closely monitoring further developments as these changes impact both traders and consumers.
