KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Hospitality, a trailblazer in Nepal’s hospitality industry, is celebrating its 27th anniversary with bold plans for the future. Founded in 1998 as a modest hotel in Tikapur, Kailali, the company has grown into a nationwide brand synonymous with quality and innovation in the hospitality sector.
During a celebratory event marking the milestone, Krishna Neupane , CEO of Siddhartha Group, unveiled the company’s ambitious Vision 2030 plan. This roadmap includes operating at least 58 outlets across Nepal and internationally by the end of the decade. “We are preparing to expand our footprint in various parts of Nepal and India, with plans to enter other international markets thereafter,” Neupane announced.

Over the past year, Siddhartha Hospitality has solidified its reputation as a leader in the hospitality industry, earning numerous accolades. Notably:
Siddhartha Riverside Resort in Chumlingtar along the Prithvi Highway was honored with the South Asian Travel Award (SATA) for Best Riverside Resort.
The Siddhartha Boutique Hotel in Bouddha received the award for Best Boutique Hotel. The Siddhartha Resort in Surkhet was recognized by the Karnali Province government for its Best HR Practices . Several other outlets were celebrated with Traveler’s Choice Awards for their exceptional service.

Plans for International Expansion

Additionally, Siddhartha is progressing with the construction of a five-star hotel in Dhangadhi , further cementing its presence in domestic markets.
The company has also launched the Siddhartha Cottage in Butwal’s Yogikutti , featuring a water park and one of the region’s finest conference halls. While the restaurant is already operational, the remaining facilities are expected to be completed by June next year. Another Siddhartha Cottage is under construction in Dhangadhi, offering guests a serene environment with modern amenities such as a restaurant, water park, and conference hall.
Siddhartha is also planning to build a luxury resort in Ilam , a popular tourist destination known for its scenic tea gardens. The resort will offer organic farm-to-table meals, wellness programs, and immersive cultural experiences, appealing to both domestic and international travelers.

Five-star brands : Siddhartha Vilasa in Bhairahawa and Chitwan’s luxury Siddhartha Vilasa Banbas. Four-star brands : Siddhartha Vaibhav hotels in Nepalgunj, Kathmandu, Surkhet, and Chandrauta. Three-star brands : Siddhartha Batika hotels in Mahendranagar, Kailali, Nuwakot, Biratnagar, Chitwan, and Tanahu. Cottages : Siddhartha Cottages in Butwal, Yogikutti, Nepalgunj, Kathmandu (Dhovighat, Old Baneshwor, and Tin-Kune). The company, which operates the four-star Siddhartha Boutique Hotel in Bouddha and the five-star Siddhartha Vilasa in Bhairahawa, plans to offer 10% of its shares to the public as part of the IPO. This move is expected to strengthen the company’s financial standing and pave the way for further expansion.
