KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited has announced that it will provide interest-free loans to members of the National Photographers’ Group Nepal (NFPJ) for purchasing cameras.
The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Prakash Paudel, Head of the Transaction Banking Department at Global IME Bank, and NFPJ President Pradeep Raj Onta.
Under this initiative, the bank will offer loans ranging from Rs. 200,000 to Rs. 500,000 without any interest for camera purchases. The loan repayment period will range from 6 months to 18 months , with easy installment facilities available for photographers.
To apply for the loan, photojournalists must submit the required documents, application forms, and a recommendation letter from the NFPJ to the bank. This collaboration aims to support photographers in acquiring professional equipment and advancing their careers.
