Siddhartha Premier Insurance announces 30pc cash dividend for shareholders

KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Premier Insurance has announced a 30% cash dividend for its shareholders from the profit of the fiscal year 2080/081 (2023/24).

The decision was made during the company’s board meeting held on Monday. With a paid-up capital of NPR 2.80 billion, the company will distribute a total of NPR 841.96 million in cash dividends.

The dividend proposal is subject to approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and will be presented at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) for final endorsement. Once approved, the amount will be disbursed to eligible shareholders.

Siddhartha Premier Insurance has been actively expanding its market presence, offering various insurance products to individuals and businesses. The company’s decision to provide a substantial cash dividend reflects its strong financial performance and commitment to shareholder value.
