KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has officially launched its Business Intelligence System (BIS) on Tuesday. This system will be used for managing FNCCI’s member database, conducting research and streamlining office operations.
All members’ information will be stored in this system, making it accessible to the members themselves. Approximately 600,000 businesses are affiliated with the FNCCI, either directly or indirectly. The details of these members will be included in this system.
Furthermore, this system can be used to conduct surveys for formulating policy recommendations or for other research purposes.
As a knowledge platform, the FNCCI’s studies, data and publications will be stored in this system and made accessible to the public.
Inaugurating the system, FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal stated that this system will facilitate the federation’s research and policy advocacy.
The BIS portal has been developed by Smart Solutions Technology Pvt. Ltd. with technical support from the Asia Foundation Nepal for the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
