Global IME Bank signs agreement with MAW Vriddhi Motors and MAW Vriddhi Autocorp for EV loans

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with MAW Vriddhi Motors and MAW Vriddhi Autocorp to facilitate the smooth disbursement of loans for electric vehicles.

The MoU was signed by Narahari Silwal, Head of Small, Medium, Retail, and Agricultural Loans Department at Global IME Bank, and Gopal Kumar Agrawal, Group Director of MAW Vriddhi Motors Pvt. Ltd. and MAW Vriddhi Autocorp Motors Pvt. Ltd.

According to the agreement, individuals or companies purchasing electric vehicles such as Deepal, Seres, and Nami from MAW Vriddhi Motors and MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, or their authorized dealers, will be provided with loans at a competitive interest rate within three working days of submitting the required documents to the bank. Deepal and Seres brands of electric vehicles are already popular among Nepali users, and the company has recently introduced the new Nami brand of electric vehicles to the Nepali market.

In line with its commitment to promoting green financing, Global IME Bank has been offering loans for electric vehicles at affordable interest rates. The bank has been launching various time-relevant schemes to benefit its customers, keeping their convenience in mind.
