KATHMANDU: In a historic spike, the price of gold has reached an unprecedented Rs 149,800 per tola today, marking a significant increase of Rs 2,000 per tola from the previous day’s rate. On Tuesday, gold was sold at Rs 147,800 per tola, reflecting a steady upward trend.
In a similar pattern, the price of standard gold has climbed to Rs 149,100 per tola today, up by Rs 2,000 from Rs 147,100 per tola on Tuesday. This surge in gold prices has drawn considerable attention from investors and market analysts alike.
The silver market has also experienced a notable rise. The price of silver has increased by Rs 20 per tola, now standing at Rs 1,895 per tola compared to Rs 1,875 per tola yesterday.
These significant increases in the prices of precious metals are attributed to various global and domestic economic factors, influencing investor sentiment and market dynamics.
