KATHMANDU: Today marked a significant milestone in Nepal-Iceland relations with the inauguration of the new Consulate premises in Kathmandu and the celebration of Vidushi Rana’s appointment as the new Honorary Consul of the Republic of Iceland in Nepal. The event, held at the Hotel Yak and Yeti, attracted distinguished personalities and dignitaries from various sectors, highlighting the importance of this diplomatic achievement.
The event was honored by the presence of Honorable Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, who attended as the Chief Guest. His Excellency Gudni Bragason, Ambassador of the Republic of Iceland, participated as a Special Guest, underscoring the strengthening bilateral relations between Nepal and Iceland.
Prominent figures such as Honorable Deputy Speaker of the House, Ms. Indira Rana Magar, showcased the event’s significance within Nepal’s legislative and judicial spheres.
