KATHMANDU: The government has released Rs 1 billion for the construction of temporary housing for the affected ones from the Jajarkot earthquake on November 3.

The cabinet meeting held on November 13 had decided to send Rs 10 billion and the Finance Ministry allocated Rs 1 billion as per the cabinet decision. Pokhrel shared Rs 540 million in Jajarkot, Rs 340 million in Rukum Paschim and Rs 50 million in Salyan. Earlier, the Authority had sent Rs 1.41 billion for the construction of temporary housing.
