KATHMANDU: The Embassy of Indonesia in Bangladesh, also overseeing visa-related matters for Nepal, has made it mandatory to have a Sticker Visa when entering Indonesia from Nepal. The Embassy has informed that a new arrangement has been made due to the challenges faced during the e-visa process through various agencies in Indonesia and Nepal.
In a released circular, the Embassy has suggested that all visa-related activities be conducted through the commercial section of the Consulate of Indonesia in Kathmandu. While evaluating errors in the e-visa application process, the Embassy has urged individuals not to apply for e-visas when traveling to Indonesia from Nepal.
For the convenience of Nepali citizens traveling to Indonesia, Ambassador Chandra Prasad Dhakal, the commercial attaché of Indonesia in Nepal, has initiated efforts to simplify the existing procedures. He has also conveyed information about the new system implemented by the Indonesian government to further streamline the process for the ease of Nepali citizens.
