KATHMANDU, October 31st: In a recent development, Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has decided to lower the prices of diesel and kerosene by Rs 4 per liter each.
With this adjustment, the cost of both these essential petroleum products will now stand at Rs 164 per liter in the areas of Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, and Dipayal. The updated rates will take effect starting from 1:00 am on Wednesday morning.
The decision to revise the prices of these fuels was made by NOC, based on the reduced price notifications received from the Indian Oil Corporation. The Indian Oil Corporation is the exclusive supplier of petroleum products to the state-owned oil monopoly.
