KATHMANDU: inDrive is a global mobility and urban services platform that supports the development of alternative transport and gifted an EV scooter to the winnerHom Nath Shrestha of the 15th Kathmandu Marathon who ran the full marathon.
The Kathmandu Marathon, an iconic event that brings together athletes and enthusiasts from all over Nepal, has been an embodiment of perseverance, dedication, and a commitment to a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
The Kathmandu Marathon, organized by the NRS Sports Foundation, has been a prominent fixture on Nepal’s sporting calendar for over a decade. This year, inDrive had joined hands with NRS Sports Foundation to ensure the continued success of this iconic event.
In addition to supporting the marathon and its winners, inDrive financed a training program in 8 cities and attracted 600 participants who trained together for three months. This initiative had reflected inDrive dedication to nurturing talent and enhancing the sports ecosystem in Nepal.
In addition to this, to promote young and underprivileged runners, inDrive had supported more than 300 athletes by providing slots in Kathmandu Marathon.
The initiation is part of inDrive’s community empowerment efforts to challenge injustice globally. This event aligns perfectly with the company’s values of promoting health and well-being. inDrive believes in fostering a sense of unity and community spirit, and the marathon was an excellent platform for this.
The Keep Fit Circuit training program is still being conducted in Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur, Kritipur, Thimi, Pokhara, Hetauda and Butwal till 31st Oct.

YourPace is inDrive’s new running project that supports organizers of local races with the resources to create inclusive and accessible events. In this way, it contributes to community development, as running is both a physical activity and an inclusive sport that brings people together. I sincerely hope that every participant in our training program and this marathon today feels the joy of their achievements and the opportunity to be part of this great movement. I hope that all the spectators who saw the runners and were with us at the exhibition before the marathon understood that it is not so important how fast you run, how important it is to just be in this movement. And I hope each of them, thanks to us, will make their contribution to the development of sports and a healthy lifestyle in Nepal.”

The winner of 15th Kathmandu Marathon who ran the full marathon, Mr. Hom Nath Shrestha said “I am happy to participate and win this marathon as well as I am so happy and want to thanks inDrive for EV scooter”.
The Sports Fair is the first expo in the sports industry, scheduled on the 12th and 13th of October, was a thrilling experience for sports enthusiasts of all ages. It was a platform where a sports enthusiast can find equipment, sports gear, clothing, information on any sports, and anything related to sports.
It’s an excellent opportunity for all sports lovers. At the stand of the inDrive and YourPace program, everyone could try running and sign up for training, as well as take part in the lottery and receive many wonderful prizes.
