KATHMANDU: The government has made plans to pay taxes in four months as of May 30th, Kathmandu.
Taxpayers will now have four months to pay their taxes, according to Finance Minister Prakasharan Mahat, who delivered the budget for the fiscal year 2023–2024 on Monday during the joint session of the Federal Parliament.
Before, taxpayers who had registered for VAT were required to submit their tax returns every month. In a similar vein, he stated that the Central Billing Monitoring System (CBMS) will include taxpayers with annual revenue of more than Rs 250 million.
