Govt to present policies and programs on May 19

KATHMANDU: The government’s policies and initiatives are prepared to be unveiled on May 19. In a Tuesday morning meeting with Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal provided this information.

To meet with Prime Minister Dahal, Speaker Ghimire traveled to his residence in Baluwatar this morning. During the meeting, topics such as the budget, government policies and programs, and the meeting of the parliament were covered.

During the meeting, Dahal reportedly said, “I would like to inform you that the government is preparing to present policies and programs on May 19.”

PM Dahal also commended Speaker Ghimire for attempting to work in concert and collaboratively with all parties to ensure the efficient operation of parliament. He added that the pace at which the parliament is operating now will make it simple to pass the pending bills.

The budget, programs, and policies were also prepared, according to Speaker Ghimire, by the Parliament Secretariat. He expressed his appreciation for the assistance provided by the government and political parties in running the Parliament.

The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting’s issues were raised, according to Speaker Ghimire, who also noted that the lawmakers had complained that the government had not responded. Furthermore, he urged Prime Minister Dahal to treat this issue seriously.
