KATHMANDU: After FlyDubai disclosed information about a bird strike during its flight on Monday night, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) is going to reevaluate.
The pilot and the air traffic control (ATC) at Tribhuvan International Airport had a conversation that, according to CAAN spokesperson Jagannath Niraula, conflicts with the information made public by FlyDubai.
Immediately following the incident, the pilot informed ATC that the engine had a problem. We learned from the initial information that the air flow was insufficient, but FlyDubai reports that a bird hit the building. In order to learn more, we will continue our investigation. ”.
The FluDubai flight from Kathmandu to Dubai encountered a problem at 9:20 PM on Monday, and as a result, it circled over Kathmandu and arrived in Dhading. After fixing the issue, the pilot let Nepali ATC know that the flight was proceeding as planned towards its destination.
