KATHMANDU: The fourth edition of Nepal Infrastructure Summit is all set to kick off in Kathmandu from Thursday.
The two-day event is being organized by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries in collaboration with the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport. The CNI has been organizing this event since 2014.
The organisers informed that the stakeholders will discuss issues ranging from transportation to energy, urban development, drinking water and sanitation, climate change, infrastructure projects among other topics during the summit.
The theme of this year’s summit is ‘Infrastructure for Development’.
The organisers expect investment commitment for green infrastructure and economic revival during the summit. The summit is also expected to stress on policy intervention for innovative financial framework, foreign direct investment, participation of private sector and digital transformation.
