KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Monday declined by 7.41 points to close at 2,053.13 points.
This is the second consecutive day that the market lost a single-digit point. On Sunday, the market fell 7.72 points.
The market opened at 2,060.55 points and rose to the day’s highest at 2,065.21 points. However, the market fell to as low as 2,044.40 points before recovering in the intraday transaction.
The total turnover amount stood at mere Rs 1.72 billion, a drop from Rs 2.04 billion on Sunday. Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 281.87 million. NIBL Samriddhi Fund-2 was the biggest loser.
