KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made changes in share mortgage loans. The central bank has changed has made arrangements whereby it is now possible to take a share mortgage loan of up to 120 million rupees from a single bank.
Previously, there was a provision for a loan of Rs 40 crore from one organization and a maximum of Rs 12 crore from the entire organization, but now there is a provision to take a loan of up to Rs 12 crore from a single bank.
Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari said this while announcing the monetary policy for the current financial year.
