Govt to provide monthly allowance of Rs 5,000 for kidney, cancer and spinal cord patients

KATHMANDU: The government will provide a monthly allowance of Rs 5,000 for kidney transplant, cancer and spinal cord patients. A budget of Rs. 1.5 billion has been allocated for this.

Kidney transplants are also provided free of cost for which Rs 100 million has been allocated.
