KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index closed at 2,265.52 today after losing 84.90 points from last trading day’s closing. This is a loss of 3.61%. The index had lost 18.64 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 2,350.42 points which is also the intraday high. It then made intraday low at 2,263.30 and closed at 2,265.52.
A total of 3,595,748 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs 1.644 billion in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day’s turnover of Rs 2.328 billion.
