KATHMANDU: The government has filed a case against Bottlers Nepal Ltd for capital gains tax evasion. The Department of Revenue Investigation has filed a case in the Patan High Court, amounted of Rs. 7.43 billion, on Friday.
The department had been investigating Bottlers Nepal for capital gains tax fraud since long. There is an allegation of capital gains tax evasion in transferring more than half of the ownership of Bottlers Nepal Limited from one company to another. The case has been filed against 17 defendants including Bottlers Nepal.
