KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Pradip Adhikari, has taken charge. He took charge amidst in a program organized at CAAN on Thursday.
On the occasion, all the Deputy Directors Generals (DDGs) expressed their commitment to work hand in hand with the new Director General and CAAN staffs for the betterment of the institution. They mentioned that young and dynamic leadership will change the reputation of CAAN to the general public and enhance its legacy.
“I will make the CAAN a proud institution and will work together with CAAN employees to enhance the capacity of the institution,” Adhiakri said.
He was appointed to the post of director general by the cabinet meeting on Monday. He has been made the director general of the government authority for four years.
Deputy Director General Bhola Guragain, Prem Nath Thakur, Dev Chandra Lal Karna, Hanshraj Niraula and others expressed their commitment to cooperate with him. They also wished success in the operation of Gautam Buddha International Airport, construction of new airports and safety audit, among others.
On behalf of the employees’ union, Shrawan Kumar Yadav said that all the employees would support the director general.
