KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom, among companies, paid the highest income tax in Nepal in the last fiscal year.
On the occasion of the 10th National Tax Day, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma honored companies and individuals paying largest taxes under various headings.
While Nepal Telecom was felicitated as the largest taxpayer (companies), Nabil Bank became the largest taxpayer (commercial banks).
In terms of individual taxpayer to the state, Siddhartha Rana was felicitated as the largest taxpayer while Dabur Nepal became the largest taxpayer among export-oriented industry.
