Union of Asian Chambers formally launched under Nirvana Chaudhary’s leadership

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has launched the Union of Asian Chambers (UAC) – an organization of Asian chambers. Amid of the 18th Annual General Meeting of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Prime Minister Deuba has formally launched the organization.

CNI Vice President Nirvana Chaudhary is leading the organization. CNI has proposed to chambers active in Asian region on incorporate in the organization.

On the occasion UAC Chairman Chaudhary highlighted the mission, vision and goals of the organization. UAC is envisioned with strengthen Asian trade and enhance regional economic growth by acting as the eyes, ears, and voice of the business community in Asia.

Likewise, the organization has vision to promote trade activities, encourages research and development in trade, and advocates for stronger trade ties within the region.

The soft-launch of the UAC was held on July 1, 2021.
