KATHMANDU: Initial public offerings (IPOs) worth Rs 14 billion are in the pipeline.
The Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) has given permission to 18 different companies to issue IPOs in the current fiscal year. Those companies who received the green signal are preparing for the issuance of IPOs worth Rs 14.34 billion.
Union Life Insurance Company on Thursday issued ordinary shares worth Rs 645 million. Similarly other companies, including Terhathum Power, Mid-Bhotekoshi Hydropower, are preparing to issue shares in the near future.
