KATHMANDU: Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) has requested the government to increase the number of flights.
Issuing a press statement, the association sought increment in the number of flights citing that they were facing difficulties in transporting passengers with 50 percent flights a day.
“We request the government to increase the number of flights for easy and cheap flights. We are committed to carryout flights adopting all safety and health proticals,” AOAN said in a statement.
As per AOAN, the flow of passengers travelling via air is high as recent flood and landslide has obstructed road transportation across different parts of the country.
