KATHMANDU: Domestic flights have resumed from today nearly after two months. The government had suspended domestic flights from May 3 to contain the spread of Covid-19.
The aviation sector regulator, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), has developed a flight schedule under which airline companies will be allowed to conduct maximum 64 flights a day in total. Domestic flights will be allowed at an interval of 10 minutes.
At normal times, a domestic flight takes off every two minutes.
