KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has asked industries to clear their dedicated feeders and trunk lines dues by this fiscal year.
Moreover, NEA has warned to disconnect power to industries not clearing their dues on time.
Hitendra Dev Shakya, managing director of NEA, informed that industries have been given a deadline of 15 days to clear their dues and the NEA will be compelled to disconnect power to them if they failed to clear dues on time.
NEA is yet to collect almost Rs 14 billion dues from almost 300 industries using electricity through dedicated feeders and trunk lines.
