KATHMANDU: K&A Engineering Consulting, P.C., an American Company based in New York, USA is involved in the study and design of transmission and distribution lines in Nepal has provided food relief to the working-class families in Ramhiti, Kathmandu.
As per its Corporate Social Responsibility, K&A Engineering distributed basic food essentials of everyday household to facilitate dietary needs of 110 improvised families for approximately 10 days that are working in different Carpet Industries.
Director of Operations in Nepal Rishi Kesh Sharma informed that the company has supported NPR 152,000.00 in Ramhiti for this cause.
“We have provided food relief under our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy to support the livelihood of these adversely affected workers by COVID 19 pandemic this year and, distributed jackets to 64 children of Nepal Children’s Organization (NCO) on K&A Day in November 2020’, he said.
Director of Nepal Operations Mr. Sharma informed that, the Nepal office is carrying out studies, design, and research in transmission line, distribution line and substation, safety, and strategic plans of capacity enhancement in USA and Nepal. Presently there are 40 employees in Nepal office.
