KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index lost a huge 63.28 points today to close at 2,905.14 points.
The index opened at 2,975.25 and made the intraday high at 2,978.26. While it went as low as 2,881.01, it closed at 2,905.14.
Today, 27,344,511 shares traded hands via 128,281 transactions while the total turnover was recorded Rs 11.81 billion. While the float index lost 4.47 points and closed at 200.88, the sensitive index was at 528.51 after losing 12.61 points.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) recorded the highest turnover of Rs 829 million.
