Engineering entrance at Clamphook Academy at affordable rate

KATHMANDU: The Clamphook Academy is set to conduct engineering entrance exam preparation classes online at a minimum fee.

Bikki Chantyal, a founding engineer of Clamphook Academy says, “After seeing the state of some of the students losing an academic year by not getting accurate information on engineering entrance exams in time in the past year made me to initiate this program.”

He further adds, “Most +2 students were obliged to come to Kathmandu immediately to prepare for various entrance exams for graduate level studies, now it can even save their cost of living in Kathmandu.”

Chhantyal says it was prepared to run an effective and sensible online class – targeting the entrance exam class itself. He says the institution will work according to the same spirit because the main purpose of Clamphook is quality education and bridging the gap between IOE and the aspirants.

This Clamphook Academy had set up their institute with the help of team of engineers from the graduated batches from Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk in the middle of 2020s lockdown. The Academy will conduct an online preparation class for the Bachelors level i.e., BE/B. Arch under the curriculum guidelines of IOE all throughout the prohibition time.

Clamp hook has already conducted online classes previous year but this year it aims to edify the ongoing grade 12 students from this course so that they can utilize the lockdown period adding on to the situation of it being easy for them to prepare for a longer period of time.

Keeping the financial situation of the students in mind during this time Clamphook has set its full course fee of only Rs. 6000 where they would be taught by the graduate engineers from Pulchowk and the IOE toppers from the previous year. Chantyal further adds that this course has been designed from the entrance point of view so it would be collecting every detail from the micro level required for the entrance examination. The students will be provided with syllabus and the digital notes of the subjects like Physics Chemistry, Mathematics, English.

Also, the added benefit of having the access to recorded lectures and 24-hour online discussion forum in Discord is the final nail on the coffin.

The students will be provided the set of model questionnaires based on the questions from the past year of IOE examination through which they can practice for the entrance examination which will of Multiple Choice Questions type.

Every year Pulchowk Campus opens the seat for 576 students for which about 15000 students appear for the examination. Besides Pulchowk Campus there are 4 other public campuses of IOE. Also, there are other private colleges for which also good merit position is required.
