KATHMANDU: CG Communications has started internet service in Kathmandu Valley from today. As per the company, consumers will get CG Net at half the price of internet available in the Nepali market.
“The high speed internet service is expected to have a positive impact on consumer efficiency and improve the quality of services provided by the public and private sectors,” the company said.
The company has provided 120 Mbps CG Net at Rs 999. The company believes that the new customer-centric service will bring a new experience in the life of the consumer.
CG Net is a nationwide Internet Service Provider (ISP) that will provide internet services for both business and individuals. The company said it was preparing to launch IPTV and other popular services in the near future. The company also said that CG Net has used the latest generation of technology available in the global market to address the growing use and demand for video, OTT platform, work from home, online classroom, among others.
Initially, CG’s internet will be available in all three districts of the Kathmandu Valley. For the time being, residents of Jawalakhel, Jamsikhel, Bhanimandal and Ekantakuna can avail the service. The company plans to expand CG Net across Kathmandu Valley within one year.
Managing Director of the company Nirvana Chaudhary said that the ‘CG Net’ has been launched as per the company’s commitment to provide high quality and cheap internet to Nepali consumers.
