KATHMANDU: The government has set a target to generate additional 1,629 MW of electricity next year through public-private investment.
According to Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, 228 MW will be generated from Upper Tamakoshi, 111 MW from Rasuwagadhi, 57 MW from Lower and Upper Sanjen, 102 MW from Madhyabhotekasi and 155 MW from the private sector.
