KATHMANDU: Essential health supplies provided by the Spanish government for the treatment and prevention of the coronavirus pandemic have arrived in Nepal.
Nepal’s Ambassador to Spain Dawa Futi Sherpa landed with the supplies from Spain at Tribhuvan International Airport in a chartered flight. Health and Population Minister Hridayesh Tripathi reached the airport and received the provided goods.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the health supplies handed over by the Spanish aid agency include ventilators, oxygen concentrators, antigen test kits and PPE etc.
The items arrived in a chartered flight sent by the Government of Spain include 144,000 sets of rapid antigen test kit, 10 units of oxygen concentrator, 144,000 units of FFP2 mask, 50 units of oxygen cylinder and 15 sets of ventilator.
