Construction works affected across the country

KATHMANDU: Construction works across the country has been affected owing to disruption in supply of construction materials due to the prohibitory order, as per the Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN).

Issuing a press statement, FCAN informed that major construction works, including that of various projects, have been affected as the ongoing prohibitory order has halted the supply of construction materials across the country.

“As movement of vehicles is restricted across the country, entrepreneurs are not able to make supply of construction materials. This has directly hampered construction works,” said FCAN.

FCAN also requested the government to allow movement of vehicles carrying construction materials.
