KATHMANDU: Prabhu Bank has published its third-quarter report for the 2077-78 fiscal year with an impressive rise in its net profit by 44.08 percent.
As per the report, the bank’s profit has increased from Rs 1.46 billion in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2076-77 to Rs 2.1 billion in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2077-78.
The bank’s deposit has witnessed a growth rate of 27.22 percent to Rs 163 billion and loans and advances to customers have increased by 35.12 percent to Rs 134 billion.
The net interest income of the bank has increased by 6.60 percent to Rs 3.83 billion from Rs 3.59 billion of the corresponding quarter.
Prabhu Bank’s paid-up capital stands at Rs 11.34 billion with Rs 5.99 billion as its reserve and surplus.
