KATHMANDU: Domestic flights at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have been affected for the past five days due to the unfavorable weather.
TIA officials informed that majority of scheduled domestic flights to and from Kathmandu have been affected since last five days owing to low visibility due to dense smog.
Pratap Babu Tiwari, general manager at TIA, informed that out of 112 domestic flights of different airlines scheduled for Wednesday, only 95 flights took place. While twelve flights were cancelled and five were merged.
Meanwhile, international flights have not been affected by the weather.
