KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has urged Ministries to propose only programs that can be implemented for the budget of the coming fiscal year.
In a discussion at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Minister Poudel requested to propose programs and budget that are feasible and implementable and informed that unfeasible projects will not be entertained in the budget.
Stating that there is a limit to formulate the budget within the ceiling, Poudel said that it is important to prioritize budget implementation and focus on feasible projects.
Urging Ministries to propose programs on priority basis, Poudel also pointed out the need for inter-ministerial coordination to address impact of COVID-19 in the economy.
