KATHMANDU: Foreign tourist arrival has started to spike since the government lifted lockdown in July last year.
As per statistics maintained by the government, over 14,977 foreign tourists from 138 countries arrived in Nepal via air route in the month of March of which 11,102 were male and 3,963 were female and 12 from the other category.
While Indian tourists constitute the highest with 7,658 arrivals among foreign tourists visiting Nepal, 1,703 American tourists visited Nepal during this period and 1,207 tourists came from China.
